Former Superintendent Of Kingston Paper Mill Dies
James Peters, a former Ligonier resident, died at his home in Duarti, California recently. A son of the late Captain Peters of Latrobe, Mr. Peters managed the paper mill at Kingston for a number of years. The mill which was operated by the Barrett Co., stood idle for a number of years before being purchased by the Kennametal Co., of Latrobe.
Mr. Peters is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary Senft Peters, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Helen Barkley. During their residence in Ligonier, the Peters family lived in the home on East Main Street now occupied by Mrs. E. C. McKelvey and sisters.
