Set Good Record
Greensburg, Sept. 2. In recognition of his remarkable record of not having had a single preventable accident occur to any passenger in the thirty-nine years he served the Ligonier Valley Railroad Company as conductor, S. L. Cowie, of Ligonier, has been given special mention in a recent issue of the Pennsylvania News. During the term which lacks but one year of four decades, the only passenger injured was a demented man who broke loose from his guard on Mr. Cowies train.
[Cowie was a PRR Conductor.]
