Soisson Brick Plants Sold To D. W. MDonald
Nine Works and other Property Bring $100,000 at Sheriffs Outcry, Subject to Mortgage
Weisel Home Is Also Sold

Uniontown, March 5. The nine plants of the Joseph Soisson Fire Brick Company were sold this morning by Sheriff J. Q. Adams to Attorney D. W. McDonald of Uniontown for $100,000, subject to a mortgage of $70,000.
The sale includes clay and coal veins and all other property.
The plants are Volcano, Davidson, Meyer, Layton, Lavenia, Bear Run, Kingston (two) and Bolivar.
The home of Joseph M. Weisel at Pennsville, the former Dr. Chalfant property, was sold to Attorney Ross S. Matthews of Connellsville for $336.15, representing costs and interest. There is a mortgage against the property.
