Viaduct Open
The big viaduct at McCance at what has been known as Longbridge on the Lincoln Highway, was thrown open to public travel late Sunday afternoon, as a completed structure. It is now being used by traffic and will continue to be used permanently in place of the one-way bridge. The contractors completed the approaches Saturday with the final application of tarvia dressing. The guarding cables still are to be put up along the approaches, and several fills remain to be walled up with stones, but this work will not interfere with the use of the viaduct and of the approaches.
