Veteran Engineer Made Final Run
When Thomas J. Dunlap stepped down from the cab of the Ligonier Valley Railroad
passenger train engine on last Thursday evening, Dec. 31, 1925, he completed a period in the employ of the company dating from Dec. 8, 1879. During the past 27 years Mr. Dunlap has been engineer on the passenger train and was very seldom absent from duty.
In retiring from the railroad service Mr. Dunlap will spend his time looking after his farm which is located near Ross Mountain Park.
Mr. Dunlap during his service on the road made many friends who will miss him as they journey to and from Latrobe.
