Some Gas Well
Pittsburgh, Pa., August 5th. The deepest gas well in the world is being drilled in Kellys Hollow between Latrobe and Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Although not yet completed early in July the well had reached the depth of 7,704 feet, which is 166 feet deeper than any other gas well in the world. The goal is the Clinton sand which is expected to be reached at 8,000 feet.
