Albert S. Ankney
Albert S. Ankney died suddenly Monday, Jan 8, 1923, at 1:30 p.m. while at work in the Kuhn & Buell Coal mine on the Seybold farm near Darlington. He was born March 29, 1876 and was in his 47th year at the time of his death. The body was brought to Sibel's undertaking rooms in Ligonier and later removed to his home in Ligonier township. Funeral services will be held Thursday. Interment in Brant cemetery. Mr. Ankney is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters; also by his father Jacob Ankney; a half-brother and half-sister.
