Martin Coal Co. Begins Business
A new coal company in this section is known as the Martin Coal Company which is
owned by Robert Martin and E. C. Ramsey, two Ligonier business men. They have the mine opened and ready to deliver coal to the L.V.R.R. for shipment.
The vein is of the Pittsburgh coal and is seven feet thick and a good quality of coal. The managers have secured the necessary equipments, including three motor trucks for the hauling of the product of the mine to the railroad.
