New Schedule Of Trains On L.V.R.R.
Will Go Into Effect Sunday, November 25, 1917
Morning Train 7:00, Evening 6:30

A new schedule of passenger trains on the P.R.R. and on the Ligonier Valley goes into effect Sunday, November 25, 1917. From that date until further notice the early morning train will leave the Ligonier station at 7:00 instead of 6:52 as at present. The other principal change will be he arrival time in the evening which will be 6:30 instead of 6:59. The morning train from Latrobe leaves there at 9:25 and arrives at Ligonier at 9:55, being five minutes later than now. The afternoon train remains the same and the time of the Sunday trains leaving Latrobe will be the same as week day schedule, that is 9:25 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday trains will leave Ligonier at 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., arriving at Latrobe at 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Corresponding changes of schedule both morning and evening will be made on the P.R.R. at Latrobe. Train in morning leaves Latrobe for Pittsburgh at 7:43, arrives at Pittsburgh at 9:28; evening train leaves Latrobe at 5:21 and arrives at Pittsburgh at 6:49.

The new schedule will be of considerable advantage to Ligonier valley people, allowing them eight minutes more time in morning, and the arrival thirty minutes earlier in the evening will be another splendid advantage in getting our mail earlier in the evening.
