No Sign of Let Up In Embargo Against L.V.R.R..

The beginning of the week found the Pennsylvania Railroad Company still maintaining an embargo against all freight coming over the L.V.R.R., except government freight, railroad coal, and perishable stuff, including livestock.

There was nothing new, moreover, in answer to the query as to whether the embargo might be near an end, indicating that the Pennsylvania did not yet see daylight in respect to the congested stated of its own lines and yards.

The coke producers in the valley are storing their coke, thus keeping their plants going, and it is understood that some of the coal companies are doing the same thing. Industrial plants are operating, and storing their products, hopeful of the lifting of the embargo and the acquisition of empties, before all their storage room is taken up.
