Wreck On L. V. R. R.t
By the breaking of a flange under a coal car, two cars of coal were upset, and eight hundred feet of track were torn up, on the L. V. R. R., in the Fourth Ward, yesterday afternoon. The train was passing the main L. V. R. R. tracks to the scale siding when the wheel gave way. Fortunately, the break did not occur until the car had passed over the siding, otherwise the main line would have been tied up for some time, as the broken wheel dug deep into the ties of the siding for at least 800 feet, smashing them, and putting the siding out of commission for the time being. Finally, the car overturned, along with the one directly behind it.
