Big Coal Field Has Been Sold
A coal deal of considerable importance has been consummated at Ligonier, establishing a new high price for coal in that locality. Twenty acres of coal held by A. B. Clifford near Ligonier was sold to the Ramsey Coal Company the price being $25,000. The Ramsey company has been in existence for several years, and holds a tract of coal now being operated, adjacent to the Clifford tract. The Clifford coal will be taken out at the old mine. The active heads of the Ramsey Coal Co., are G. C. Frank, W. Lohr, E. Ramsey and S. Brownfield.
