Will Be Able to Handle Crowds

The members of the sixth Presbyterian church, of Pittsburgh, to the number of about 1,000, are picnicking at Idlewild, today. As showing the scarcity of coaches on the Pennsylvania Railroad, the company, after hauling the picnickers to the pleasure resort, took the cars back to the city for use during the day, planning to run them back to Idlewild, early this evening, for the return trip. Heretofore, the trains always have been kept over, at Idlewild.

Mr. Hyland, of the L. V. R. R., received word from the Pennsy Railroad Company, yesterday, that it would be able to supply the local company with extra coaches for use on the Fourth of July, and that the coaches could be kept in service throughout the entire day unless something extraordinary should occur in respect t to troop movements.

The L. V. R. R. has ten coaches of its own, so that there will be no difficulty in transporting the crowds, under any circumstances, for, if necessary, a shuttle train may be run, between Latrobe and the park, making continuous trips.

Mr. Hyland seemed inclined to think, this morning, that the Pennsylvania would be able to provide just as many extra cars as in former years, and he said that in any event, the L. V. R. R. would be able to take care of the crowds.
