Rumor That P. W. & S. May Be Electrified
A rumor persistently circulated, in Ligonier, during the past week is to the effect that the P. W. and S. R.R. has changed hands and that it will be electrified by the new owners early next Summer and operated thereafter as a trolley line between Somerset and Ligonier. The road was built originally as a lumber road but eight or nine years ago was extended from the top of the Laurel Ridge Mountain to Somerset, since when it has been operated as a freight and passenger road.
