Charles H. Balme Dead
Charles H. Balme, superintendent of the P. W. & S. Railroad, died at his home in Somerset Thursday night of last week after a lingering illness aged about 45 years. The funeral took place at Somerset Monday of this week. The body was placed in a receiving vault and will likely be taken later to Buffalo, N.Y., his former home. He is survived by his widow and a young daughter. Mr. Balme was formerly located at Ligonier, where he had charge of the interest of the Byers-Allen Lumber Co. and the P. W. & S. R.R. and was a member of the Ligonier Lodge, F. & A. M.
