Coke Trade Growing Better Steadily
Business is booming in the Ligonier Valley coal and coke field, just now, with a number of the plants running full, and with the Connellsville Coke and Fuel Company about to start its plant going. This is a new plant of seventy ovens or more, and it has been waiting some little time, for business to improve, before making a start. The L. V. R. R. is bringing long strings of coal and coke cars to Latrobe, each day, the size of the trains being indicative of the large quantity of coal being mines in the Valley, just now.
