New Auto Bus Arrives In Derry
Derry, Pa., Feb. 20. The new auto bus which has been heralded for weeks, arrived in town yesterday. It is the property of Seger's livery, and is the one which S. Z. Beam is to put in service between Derry and Ligonier, by way of Latrobe.
It arrived in town yesterday, amid the slush and snow, and was run over the principal streets. Some difficulty was found in keeping it going on account of the deep slush.
The bus is somewhat like those run from Greensburg to the Jamison Coal works. It is closed and has seats for a large number of passengers. The bus was built by the Latrobe Carriage Works.
Until the snow leaves, regular schedules will not likely be announced or tried.
