Another Bumper Is Being Put Up
Passengers who have been waiting for their trains in the east bound waiting room, and who have seen the Ligonier train and shifters steam down the Ligonier track, have often wondered what the result would be if the brakes refused to work and the train kept on going, for the small bumper at the end of the track would have offered slight resistance to a heavy train.
Realizing the danger of a train crashing through the side of the waiting room, the railroad company has started work on the building of a large concrete bumper, which will
be strong and big enough to keep even a runaway train from damaging the waiting room.
