Car Tried to Run on Two Tracks
While the Pennsylvania Railroad shifter was at work on the Y, early this morning, the rear truck of a large box car failed to take a switch and went straight ahead while the rest of the train went down the adjoining track. The car was prevented from upsetting by the cars in front and behind it, but the two tracks were blocked for some time, until it was put back on the right track. The Ligonier train left Latrobe with the engine running backwards as it could not get around the wye.
