New Trains Well Patronized
Latrobe's new train, leaving here for Pittsburgh, at 9:31 in the night time, is proving to be popular with some, a divergence of patronage from Fast Line to the later trains being noticeable. The new Train, leaving here 18 minutes after Fast Line west, gains 8 minutes on it, making the trip to Pittsburgh. The new train makes but one stop before reaching East Liberty, the stop at Greensburg.
The Sunday afternoon train, installed on the L.V.R.R., bids fair to prove a winner, for patronage. Last Sunday, the first day of its running, found quite a number of passengers on board, enroute to Idlewild, there to spend a couple of hours, while others went to Ligonier.
The Sunday night train, run from Ligonier, carried a considerable crowd, both coming and going, and it too is expected to prove a paying proposition to the company.
