Extensive Changes At the Station
The changes undertaken by the P.R.R. at the local station are proving to be quite extensive and they are destined to add to the safety and convenience of the traveling public. Especially is this true on the west-bound platform, where the waiting room is being moved back a distance of eight feet. Heretofore, the space between it and the track was extremely narrow, and the danger attended the approach of trains.
As soon as the west-bound platform is elevated to the required height, the work will be started on the other side, the orders calling for the raising of both outside tracks to conform with the height of the two between the fences.
