L.V.R.R. Car Improvements
Steam Heat and Gas Lights Furnished For Passenger Coaches
The new superintendent of the L.V.R.R. has had a decided improvement made
regarding the heating and lighting of the passenger coaches. The old oil lamps for lighting and the coal stoves for heating the coaches have been removed and they are now being heated by steam radiators while the light is furnished from gas lamps. The steam coming from the engine and the gas from tanks placed on top of the cars as on the P.R.R. trains.
