Ligonier Valley R. R. Changes Hands

Several changes have been made in the office force of the Ligonier Valley railroad and the system of management and running of trains. Mr. George Senft, who has been with the road for over 25 years, continues as general manager; Mr. W. V. Hyland, of Pittsburgh, has been appointed as superintendent, and Mr. Wyer, of Latrobe, as the train dispatcher. A new time table especially for employees, and rules, regulations and formations have been printed in book form and given to the men interested and the road will be conducted by Mr. Hyland in accordance with the methods of modern railroading.

W. V. Hyland, of Braddock who has been made acting superintendent of the L.V.R.R., in place of Russell Minich, is removing to Ligonier. His household goods passed through Latrobe, today.

Mrs. James F. Peters, her little daughter, Mary Helen, and Miss Helen Senft, of Ligonier, passed through Latrobe yesterday enroute to New Orleans, where they will join Mr. and Mrs. George Senft in viewing the Mardi Gras. All will then go to Pasadena, where they will spend the winter.

Wreck Claims Reported
In Greensburg it is considered most unlikely that any of the claims for damages growing out of the Wilpen Branch wreck will ever be aired in court. Report has it that agents representing the L.V.R.R. have succeeded in effecting settlements of all claims, and that no suits will be heard. What the wreck cost the company, in damages, has been kept quiet, and in numerous instances it is not known what amounts the claimants received in the adjustment of their demands.
