Shifting Crew Located Here By L.V.R.R.
Latrobe is now a railroad center.
To look after its growing amount of freight, the Ligonier Valley Railroad Company has stationed a shifting crew in its local yards.
The crew not only will handle the freight coming out of the valley but it will also stand in readiness to assist Pennsy crews upon occasions, when the latter get stalled while trying to get over the crossings.
This plan should operate to minimize to some extent the long continued blockading of the crossings.
According to report the members of the crew will make their headquarters in Latrobe, taking up their residence here.
