Close following upon the action of the State Railroad Commission in filing a report of the Wilpen wreck with the attorney general, the Ligonier Valley Railroad Company, yesterday, reported to the Railroad Commission that since the disastrous wreck of July fifth, it had taken every precaution to prevent a recurrence of such accidents. A new telephone line had been installed, it was stated, and two new stations had been established on the Wilpen branch, at which employees must report for orders before moving trains on the main line. The issuing of a book of rules to employees had been another innovation, the report went on to say.
