Big Lumber Deal Is Put Through
Confirmation of a big lumber deal, made in the Ligonier valley, was to be found in a deed files at the court house, Saturday, showing the transfer of 2,862 acres of timber land from J. E. Beck and George Brown, to the A. A. Engel Lumber Company, of Buffalo, New York. The purchase price named in the deed was $52,250. The land is located in Ligonier township, and it is expected that the lumber company will begin the marketing of the timber upon it at once.
