Will Place Passenger Train
The P. W. & S. Railroad To Make Decided Improvement
The Sunday train of the P. W. & S. Railroad has not been running for some time and will not be put back on its regular Sunday runs until some time next May. Then a regular passenger train will be put on the road which will haul passengers only and no freight, thus improving the passenger accommodations and give those traveling between Somerset and Ligonier much better service than heretofore. The road bed will be improved and repaired and made much better than at present, we are informed. With all these improvements, the travel over this road ought to increase very much and evidently will, as this railroad is a great advantage to people desiring to travel between Somerset and Pittsburgh, both as to convenience and cheapness as well as saving of time. We are glad to say that the management of this railroad company has decided to make this much needed and progressive movement.
