Indiana County Men Hurt In Lumber Camp
Two Men Met With Painful Accidents at Kuhn

The following communication from G. J. Galentine, who is employed at the Blair lumber camp, at Kuhn, Pa., is of interest to Indiana county residents:

While Peter Merringer was working on Blairs sawmill he accidentally got one hand against a small bolter saw. The fingers were almost severed from the hand. He was taken to Somerset and had the injured member dressed by a physician.

Glenn Timblin, a young son of Charles Timblin, met with a similar accident a few months ago. He had a finger completely cut off by a small bolter saw. Some men are engage in building a small camp on Indian creek for the accommodation of an Italian crew who are to work on the extension of the log road of the Blair Lumber Co.

We are soon to be benefitted by electric lights, both for the sawmill and timber yard.
