Railroads Record Broken
Ligonier Valley Kills First Person in 35 Years
Latrobe, Pa., Feb. 28. (Special)
The first fatal accident on the Ligonier Valley railroad, after 35 years of continuous service, occurred today when Benjamin Fraunholtz, aged 56, of this place, was run down and almost instantly killed. Fraunholtz had walked on the tracks of the railroad during many years, but this afternoon when a passenger train approached, became confused and failed to get off the track.
