Indiana Men Buy Timber

A deal which was completed recently by which James S. and David Blair, of town, and McFarland Lumber Co., of Scottdale, became the owners of the Indian Creek Lumber Co.s holdings in Donegal township, Westmoreland county. This tract contains about 6000 acres and is situated between Ligonier and the Somerset county line. The tract is all virgin timber, only a small amount having been cut on it. A railroad branch six miles long penetrates the tract and connects with the Ligonier, Somerset and Northern railroad. A modern mill will be installed during the summer. The tract will cut in the vicinity of 10,000,000 feet.
