Fine New Station
Ligonier Valley Railroad Building Beautiful Structure
The new, fine, beautiful and commodious railroad station that is being built at the Ligonier terminus of the Ligonier Valley railroad is progressing rapidly. It is expected in a few days to have the exterior walls and roof of the building completed and work can then proceed if wintry weather does set in. The Ligonier station when completed will possibly be the finest and the best equipped railroad station for any town the size of Ligonier or even much larger in the whole country. This building when finished will add immensely to that part of town. The beautiful, modern station built of granite and terra cotta resembling granite, with its fine architectural design and surrounded by a large and well kept lawn will give a good impression of the surrounding and the prosperity of the railroad and the town and country. We are proud to see such a fine station go up in our town.
