Brick Company Makes Assignment
The Ligonier Silica Brick Company, which has been operating along the Ligonier Valley railroad, for the last eight years, has made an assignment for the benefit of its creditors. Reuben Miller, Jr., of Pittsburg, was President of the company. The brick manufactured at this plant was used exclusively for coke oven repairs and the bad condition of the coke market is said to have had much to do with suspension of operations.
