New Railroad Will Build Costly Station At Somerset
The management of the P. W. & S. railroad has contracted with Geo. B. Anderson & Son, of Latrobe, for the building of the passenger and freight station at Somerset to cost about $10,000. The carpenter work has been sublet to W. J. Peterson and J. E. Withrow, of Ligonier. The track of this road will be laid into Somerset today and regular trains will be running about May 1. Arrangements have been made to connect with the B & O railroad at Somerset.
