Railroad Progressing
Work On The Pittsburg, Westmoreland & Somerset Road
The work on the P. W. & S. railroad is being pushed with all speed. The grading from Somerset to Husband, a distance of about three miles, has been almost completed and on the Ligonier side the road is graded to the tunnel and the rails are being placed while work is progressing in the tunnel. Both Somerset and Ligonier people will rejoice on the completion of this road connecting the towns, the advantages of which will become more apparent when the road is once completed.
