Clearfield Timber Sold
The large and important tract of timber on the mountain known as the Clearfield timber tract has finally been sold to the Byers-Allen Lumber company, the latter having bought all the saw timber of this tract of almost 1,500 acres and will commence at once to cut the timber and bring it to the mills at Ligonier where it will be manufactured into lumber. This will again start the mill and the lumber industry which has been idle for about two months or more. We are glad to learn that this industry will again start as it is of quite an advantage to our town.
