May Select Different Route
Representatives of the Westmoreland Central Railroad Company, whose line is under construction from Ligonier to Bolivar, have been in New Florence several times during the past few days. A rumor is afloat to the effect that there is a possibility of the route being changed and built from Ligonier to New Florence. It is claimed that a more feasible and less expensive road could be obtained over the summit by making New Florence the connecting point with the Pennsylvania railroad. Considerable interest is being shown by the farmers located on the two proposed routes as to which route will be selected
