Railroad Wreck
A wreck occurred last Friday evening as the log train on the Pittsburg, Westmoreland & Somerset railroad was coming down the mountain above Rector.
The engineer lost control of his engine and the train came rushing down the mountain wrecking several cars. The men jumped from the train and most of them were more or less injured, but none seriously. Ira McDowell was hurt the worst, being cut and bruised considerably about his head. George Daniels was also slightly injured. All of the men will, however, be able for work again in a few days.
