New Railroad To Be Built
Will Extend From Ligonier To Bolivar Through Coal Region
Coal Field To Be Developed

Work To Be Commenced In The Near Future Assurances Come From Pittsburgh Making The New Railroad And The Development Of The Ligonier Valley Coal Territory Almost An Assured Fact The Coming Summer

Word has been received direct from Pittsburgh parties who are interested in the development of the Ligonier Valley coal territory still further assuring the early operations of the coal field between Ligonier and Bolivar and the building of a new railroad connecting these two points. The information comes from a source that is reliable and from a man interested in an iron company for which this coal of the valley is intended. The work, says our informant, will be commenced in the early part of the summer and pushed forward to completion. The railroad will likely be commenced at Bolivar and built through this next summer to Ligonier, thus affording freight and passenger accommodation to the people along the line down the valley.
