The L.V.R.R. people are making arrangements to lay more track in the "Y" at this place owing to the rapid increase in business during the past year. Arrangements will also be made for receiving a water supply for the L.V.R.R. engines.
Nearly six thousand full car loads of freight were shipped over the L.V.R.R. last year and if the present indications do not fail it will largely exceed that this year.
It is estimated that about 3,000 cars of blocks, ballast and screening will be shipped from Booth & Flinn's Ligonier quarry the coming year. This firm has more orders than it can fill.
