Idlewild Parks
At Idlewild Station on the Ligonier Valley R.R., are the most extensive and romantic pleasure grounds in Western Penna. Set in between towering, thickly wooded hills, adorned with all the beauties of the wild forest, they are unrivaled anywhere in this region for beautiful scenery and a pure bracing atmosphere. The grounds are divided by the picturesque Loyalhanna which is spanned by a wire suspension bridge. There is a dancing pavilion, restaurant, waiting room, etc., all under cover.
To Societies, Lodges, Schools, Churches and pleasure parties these parks are free. For special low rates and dates apply to Thos. E. Watt, Passenger Agent, Pittsburgh, or Geo. Senft, Supt., Latrobe, Pa.
