Black Snake
A six-foot live black snake was recently brought to the freight office from Baker's station, on the L.V.R.R., as a gift to Agent Jos. Huston. The package caused considerable fright among the clerks. Owing to the fact that the reptile has no fangs, no one was hurt.
A passenger and second class freight agency has been established at George's Station. Daniel L. Ulery has been appointed agent therat, to date from July 8, 1884.
