A New Narrow Gauge Road
The work of building a narrow gauge railroad from a point on the Ligonier Valley railroad a short distance from Idlewild to the works of the Ligonier Fire Clay Company, as distance of about one mile, is rapidly approaching completion. On Saturday a force of sixteen men were at work on the grade under the charge of Mr. J. M. Rumbaugh, who states that all the road except that part running through the Darlington farm will be ready for the track by the latter part of this week. When the road is finished this company will have facilities for taking out large quantities of the best quality of fire clay unequaled anywhere in the State.
