Ligonier Valley Railroad Officers
The annual meeting of the directors of the Ligonier Valley railroad was held at the office of the company in Ligonier, at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon of last week. The following officers were elected: S. H. Baker, President; R. M. Graham, Vice President; Directors, Jno. Murdock, w. H. Covode, N. M. Marker, Dr. W. D. McGowan, J. R. Mellon, and H. S. Denny; Messrs Mellon and Denny are new members; Andrew Mellon, Treasurer; Thos. A. Mellon, General Manager, and George Senft, Superintendent. The election of officers was the only business transacted. There is a rumor extant that the road will be extended to the Burnett Springs, three miles east of Ligonier next spring.
