A New Wrinkle
Something new for this neighborhood is the street car motor which arrived at Latrobe yesterday. It will be run on the Ligonier Valley Railroad. This motor was formerly run on the Oakland street railway, Pittsburg, and did good work. The authorities had it discontinued on account of the horses which became frightened at the steam and puffing on the streets. The gauge has been changed and it has otherwise been thoroughly overhauled in order to suit it for work on the L.V.R.R. It will be just the thing for small picnic parties and can be run on such occasions at much less expense than the train.
