Complaint Against L.V.R.R. Co. Dismissed
Complaints by the J. I. Dick Company, Contractors, against the freight rate charged by the Ligonier Valley Railroad Company on sand and gravel shipments were dismissed by the Public Service Commission last Friday.
No justification was found by the Commission for the complaint.
It cited the Ligonier Valley's answer that demands for other rate reductions would follow, if the Dick complaint were sustained, and "that the resulting decrease in revenues would bankrupt the railroad."
The Ligonier Valley Railroad is owned by the Mellon interest.
