Needed Train For The Dogs
Necessary repairs prevented the newly purchased gasoline coach, which the Ligonier Valley Railroad put into service for the first time yesterday, from being used today.
Carbon will be removed from the motor and other improvements will be made.
Because of a big shipment of dogs, consigned to the Rolling Rock Farm, which was waiting to be loaded at the Latrobe station, the train was used instead of the coach, yesterday afternoon.
There were five crates of the canines, and the gasoline coach is not equipped to handle such a large shipment.
