Train Hits Truck
The Ligonier Valley Passenger train No. 3 hit a small truck belonging to Charles J. Cinibulk, a Loyalhanna groceryman last Saturday afternoon at about 1:25 o'clock at the Depot street crossing in Latrobe.
The train was traveling at about 8 miles an hour when it came on the crossing. Passengers saw the truck approaching and realized that a collision was inevitable.
The truck was demolished and onions and potatoes were sent rolling for a considerable distance.
The pilot on the right side of the engine was torn off and the pilot step on the left side was bent.
Cinibulk suffered lacerations to his right side and a contusion on his right shoulder. None of his injuries were of a serious nature.
