Ligonier Express Placed On Schedule Tuesday
The popular Ligonier Express started its schedule Tuesday morning, June 1, and will make regular trips each day between Ligonier and Pittsburgh during the summer months. The train will leave Ligonier at 7:00 o'clock each morning and arrive in Pittsburgh at 8:33 a.m. The train will leave Pittsburgh except Saturdays at 4:07 and arrive in Ligonier at 5:40 p.m. On Saturdays when the train will carry a parlor car, it will leave the city at 12:20 and arrive in Ligonier at 1:57 p.m. Ever since the express was established as a special summer-time accommodation, it has enjoyed a large patronage.
