Idlewild to Have Big Klan Picnic
One of the largest Klan picnics will be held in Idlewild Park Saturday, September 13, under the auspices of the Latrobe and Ligonier Klans. Klansmen, their families and friends from all over the state and adjacent states will assemble for the greatest celebration ever held since the founding of the order.
This will be an old fashioned basket picnic, so bring your basket. Coffee will be served by committee.
Good speaking, sports of all kinds, good music and the usual demonstration and naturalization in the evening will be the order of the day.
Idlewild Park is located between Greensburg and Ligonier on the Lincoln Highway and Ligonier Valley railroad. Klansmen going by auto will travel over the Lincoln Highway, others by Ligonier Valley train.
