Will Resume Drilling
Although the No. 2 well of the Peoples Natural Gas Company at Blue Rock, on the
railroad side of the creek, had been termed a "dry hole" some time ago, drilling will be resumed next week, as the result of an order issued by the company.
Immediately upon receiving orders to resume drilling, S. E. Siggins, who is supervising drilling operations at Blue Rock, sent a rush order for a special drilling stem to be used in the drilling. The stem is made only by a firm in Buffalo. It is expected to arrive within a week.
Work on the No. 3 will on the Lincoln Highway side of the creek is continuing day and
night. A depth of 6,415 feet has been reached in this well.
